"He's behind in maths" is not information you can act on. Every family already knows that much before they call anyone.
We track every error your child makes against that split, session by session. It is the difference between a report that says "good progress this term" and one that names the exact thing going wrong and what we did about it.
The same mistake three times on one topic and we re-teach it. That is a stated rule with a number in it, not a reassurance.

If you start, sessions run weekly and the report becomes the plan. If you don't, you have still learned something useful about your child.
The algebra done in Year 8 shapes which maths course is realistically open in Year 11. It gets settled quietly, years before anyone discusses it. We check it and tell you either way.
Moving down a level mid-year is common. Moving up is rare. It is worth knowing where your child stands while there is still a year to do something about it.
If the diagnostic says your child is fine, we tell you they are fine. These are real checkpoints, not a reason to sell you lessons — and sometimes the honest answer is that no work is needed.
Term 4 runs 13 October to 17 December. Diagnostics run before then, so there is time to have the report in hand before the term begins.
Every report is read and signed off personally before it reaches you, so the number of diagnostics we can run before term starts is limited. If we can't fit you in before 13 October, we'll say so rather than rush it.
